Why does the lid of my Smila not close?

You have closed the lid and yet it keeps popping open. 

There are the following three options why the lid does not close:

1. The lock is not closed

The correct position of the lock when it is closed is the 12 o´clock position, as you can see in the picture below.

2. The drawer is not inserted correctly

First push the drawer fully back into the device and then close the lid.

3. You have not pushed in the middle of the lid
