Why is the cooling fan of my Smila loud?

If the Smila cooling fan is very loud it is an indication that the inside temperature may be high. Please check the correct placement of your Smila.

The correct placement of the device is as follows:

• Device is not placed in a closed space such as cupborads
• Ventilation slots on both sides are not covered
• The gap between the device and the wall is at least 5 cm
• The device is not placed right above a heat source
• The device is not placed in the direct sunlight
• The device is placed in a way that the main power supply can be disconnected effortlessness by pulling the power cord out of the outlet
